When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

From chibi-jen-hen's journal:
Theme: "A First Encounter" Basically, one or more of your characters meets one or more of my characters for the first time. Do they get along, do they start to fight? What happens? Clay Muir, Scottish mouse villain extraordinaire, has realized that there is a very rare and valuable MacGuffin in Tankit's universe, so he has gone there to steal it. Fortunately for the owners of the MacGuffin, it is being guarded by the brave warrior Tankit, who will not let it be taken without a fight... The lineart for the first picture of Clay Muir can be seen here: [link] . His claymore is hidden in that drawing, and he's carrying a golf club instead.

The only road to Skill is Practice.
Talent is a horse, Materials, the fodder.
Skill is attainable without Talent, but it is a long, hard walk.

I see a world of cartoons, of images and light laid out by unknown giants, and I feel a careless joy.
I see a photograph, an unmoving box of reality, and my world vanishes, leaving me a lonely giant, longing for the naivity i've lost.
